If your furnace or boiler is old, worn out, inefficient, or significantly oversized, the simplest solution is to replace it with a modern high-efficiency model. Gas furnaces without electronic (pilot-less) ignition, are prime candidates for replacement.
Every model in Trane furnace family we carry, is designed to provide maximum heat for minimum fuel usage. The furnaces have AFUE ratings from 80% up to 97.3% which means that at least 80% or more of the fuel you pay for is actually converted into heat for your home.
As you climb the ladder from single-stage, to two-stage, Two-Stage/Variable speed (Comfort-R™), and Modulating furnaces, you'll find an increasing number of benefits along the way. For example, two-stage heating provides just the right amount of warmth, frequently operating in low heat, which is often all that you need. Comfort-R™ furnaces are perfect for circulating air at all times. This keeps all rooms in the house at an even temperature, even when heating and cooling are not running. In addition, this continuous fan feature allows you to scrub your air 24 / 7, supplying you with clean, healthy air to breathe all year long. Comfort-R™ furnaces provide even temperature and non-stop filtration for about the cost of low wattage light bulb
You have more important things to do than worry about the efficiency of your home's comfort system; that's why the ComfortLink communicating system works behind the scenes for you. This special technology is built into specific Trane products, allowing them to "communicate" with each other.
By converting 95% or more of the fuel you pay for into heat for your home, the ENERGY STAR® qualified XC95m gas furnaces help take the sting out of even the harshest winter. And with advanced technologies that help reduce temperature swings and provide just the right amount of heat, you can depend on quiet, comfortable warmth, day in and day out.
Trane 80% AFUE gas furnaces are designed with inherent durability and reliability to assure they deliver maximum comfort for your family. They're built to be extraordinarily efficient. The result—over 80% of the fuel you pay for is actually converted into heat for your home. What's more, Trane 80 AFUE gas furnaces run quietly with precise temperature control, so you'll enjoy quiet comfort as well as savings on your utility bill.

Heat an entire home, and even get domestic hot water with the economical, reliable and compact choice from Rinnai. Now the premier name in tankless water heaters brings you two new series of wall-mounted, condensing gas boilers that can be easily retrofitted to replace traditional, less efficient boilers or provide simple, space-saving installation in new builds.
Choose from two lines, designed to fit your application.
Rinnai offers more efficiency, more energy cost savings and more durability. Choose from the Rinnai E Series, perfect for homes with small domestic hot water needs, or the Q Series, ideal in all homes where more sophisticated demands call for zone heating. Four heating-only models and three combi models offer maximum BTU inputs ranging from 75,000 to 205,000 and operate on either natural or LP gas.Rinnai E Series
A home heated by hydronics can have excellent indoor air quality. One reason is because the system uses the natural convection movements of heated air to distribute heat - it's not "blowing" air to other parts of the house. This tends to create a friendlier environment for those who are bothered by particles in the air. Particles and dust have a chance to settle out of the convected stream of air because it moves so slowly.
Heating and cooling typically accounts for 30 to 40% of your annual energy bill. Next to furnaces, boilers are the second most common heating system in the United States. A boiler uses natural gas to heat water or produce steam, which is circulated through a network of pipes into radiators, baseboard convectors, radiant floors or fan-forced coils.
Boiler efficiencies have been improved with AFUEs of ranging from 84% up to 96%. You can see that with this level of increased efficiency, the opportunity to save a lot of energy is even greater.
Conventional, older boiler systems may only be 60% efficient. By upgrading to a new boiler, you could save considerable amounts of money on heating throughout the life of the new equipment.
The Prestige boiler features a uniquely designed stainless steel heat exchanger and offers 95% efficiency. The Prestige has the capability to modulate the firing rate to 25% of its rated input and is available in 5 sizes; a 60, 110 Stand Alone, 175, 250 and 399. This modulation means fewer cycles resulting in lower operating costs. A smart and equally convenient User Interface Module displays system status and fully adjustable parameter values as well as diagnostic codes for easy troubleshooting and optimum system performance.
Crafted with a rugged, cast iron heat exchanger and stainless steel burners that are both backed by a lifetime limited warranty, the ARUBA 3 by Crown Boiler, offers proven-in-service reliability, simplicity of design and economy in its purchase price and consumption of fuel. For Safety:
An added advantage of a boiler system is you a heat your domestic hot water and eliminate the need for a separate hot water heater. By attaching a "sidearm" (Water Tank) to the boiler system you will be able to heat water with a system that is much more efficient than a standard water tank. A sidearm offers a virtually limitless supply of hot water because of the higher recovery rate of a sidearm setup.
A sidearm water heater is like a combination of a tankless water heater and a storage tank water heater. Sidearm water heaters use the boiler to heat the water. Similar to a storage tank water heater sidearms store hot water around 120-140°F. When a fixture is turned on cold water replenishes the hot water in the tank. The difference with a sidearm is that, instead of having a burner to heat the water in the tank, there are coils in the tank which are heated by the boiler. The coils heat the water in the tank.
The benefit to a sidearm water heater is a near endless hot water supply like a tankless water heater. In addition to that, since there is no vent, there is no heat loss through the vent.
Rinnai Direct Vent Furnaces are a distinctive, technologically-advanced alternative to traditional central heating systems. They are compact and less expensive than central furnaces, yet they can heat a whole house.

Rinnai's innovative, fully modulating direct-vent wall furnaces deliver smart, energy-efficient warm air to those hard-to-heat areas such as bonus rooms, in-law suites, basements and carriage houses. And installation couldn't be easier with only require a 3" wall terminal hole.
With the ES11 you'll always enjoy clean, comfortable heat in those hard to heat areas of your home. Its compact design offers flexible installation options, and the wall termination kit only requires a 3" hole.
Manage your heating needs and see increased energy savings.
Features a seven-day programmable thermostat. And with our technologically advanced modulating gas valve, you'll always enjoy clean, comfortable heat throughout your home.
Infra-red heaters cut fuel costs by lower temperature settings - Building heat loss is in direct proportion to the difference between the inside and the outside temperatures. With RE-VERBER-RAY®, the heat is directed to the floor and not trapped at the ceiling. Therefore, you can lower thermostat settings between 5 and 10 degrees and still maintain desired comfort levels at the floor.
What is Infra-Red Heating?
Infra-red heating emulates the truly inexpensive efficiency of the sun. Like the sun, infra-red heaters generate radiant heat energy that is converted into heat when absorbed by floors, objects and people. Absorbed heat is then "re-radiated" to warm the surroundings through convection.
Comfort & Energy Saving
The popularity of these types of heating systems is a result of two inherent benefits. Gas fired infra-red heating has been proven time and time again to be significantly more fuel efficient than traditional hot air type systems.
Fuel savings of 50% over hot air systems are not uncommon. The other reason for their popularity is the superior comfort levels achieved with their use. Infra-red heaters concentrate the heat at the occupation levels and utilize the floor and objects in the space as heat sinks which reradiate heat to the surrounding air. Hot air type systems deliver a blast of hot air to the floor level that quickly rises to the ceiling. In order to maintain a comfort level at the occupation level, the use of traditional hot air systems can result in extremely high temperatures at the ceiling.
